Marie-Eve Lord

Bonjour!

My name is Marie-Eve and I'm more than anxious to be starting my placement with the Sudbury Community Midwives.  I was born and raised in Abitibi, Quebec and obviously you will recognise me by my French accent.  I've always been working in the health/medical field before entering the Midwifery program.  I'm a Massage Therapist and was a paramedic for many years and, as a result, midwifery came naturally to me.  I am in the French midwifery program at Laurentian University and have done placements in Stratford, Ottawa, Tanzania, North Bay, and am finally in Sudbury for my last year.

I have spent a lot of time traveling abroad and love discovering new cultures and languages.  I love what I do and truly feel blessed to be invited on this journey with you.  It will be a privilege to support you and to learn from you.
